What Does Hyper Metabolism Within The Right Transverse Process Of T12 Mean?

hi i just got results on PET scan but my doctor is unavailable to see. can you tell me what is hyper metabolism within the right transverse process of t12? and hypermetabolic lesion are seeing the right second rib, t6 and t10 right transverse process and right iliac bone? Help please I think is cancer again :(

Hyper metabolism lesions detected on PET scan can be due to infections, or inflammation or cancer. Hyper metabolic lesions have higher standard uptake values than other parts of body denoting hyper-metabolism.
If you have previous history of cancer, which looks like from your query. This may be cancer spreading to right second rib, 6th thoracic rib, right transverse process of 10th & 12th thoracic rib and right iliac bone.
You should consult your doctor or Oncologist for diagnosis & treatment of this problem.
