Welcome to Health care magic.
1. There is nothing much to worry about -hyper-inflated lung fields.
2.First thing it could be normal if there are no associated findings - as some time when patients are asked to take a deep breath they can over do some times - so don't be hurry to worry about it.
3.Hyper inflated lung fields are seen in the patients with chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease. Any obstructive cause can seen as hyper inflated.
4.Seen in patients of heavy
smoking, With fibro-cystic changes.
5.Rest of all parameters are with in normal limits ( heart, bones, diaphragm and so on)
6. I would recommend to get a repeat x-ray after 3 months time. If any symptoms related to breathing are there - then for further evaluation computer
tomography will be definitive investigation.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
