What Does Indentation On The Shin After Injury Indicate?
I cut my shin so i applied a napkin to stop the bleeding and while pressing it i realized when i let off there was a big indentation where i was pressing and the bleeding had not stopped yet. Prior to this I have noticed on the same leg that i have bruising that i can t account for on my calves and the sides of my legs. if that helps any. why did i get that indentation on my shin where i pressed?

I suggest you to allow the injured site to heal which will take few days.
The hematoma formed (if formed) will also resolve in few days and the indentation will disappear.
If the indentation still persists after healing process is over, you need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment.
Thus, wait for the lesion to heal.
