What Does Indicate Below Chest X-ray Result?

My husband received this test result on a chest xray required prior to knee surgery?
There are low lung volumes with central bronchovascular crowding.
Allowing for low lung volumes, the cardiomediastinal silhouette is within
normal limits. There is elevation of the left hemidiaphragm with patchy left
base opacities partially obscuring the left hemidiaphragm. Right lung is clear.
No pneumothoraces.

There is also elevation of the left hemidiaphragm with patchy left
base opacities partially obscuring the left hemidiaphragm,it may be due to infective etiology. You may need to take antibiotics after clinical examination.
