Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing positional vertigo for the past month. The first doctor put me on a motion sickness patch which I never even picked up from the pharmacy. The second doctor put me on 1-2 mg of valium which I have not taken cause i am afraid of getting addicted. The third doctor (ENT) put me on acyclovir 400 mg which i took for a week but didn t notice a difference. I went for an MRI and today was told that thankfully there are no tumors and that I have inflammation of the mastoid air cells....I m not even sure which questions to ask...what do you think? I get dizzy when I lay down on the back of my head, turn on my right side or tilt my head to the right for even 30 seconds.
