What Does Internal Checkup Signify?

hi this is Mrs. Kabir i am 38 weeks pregnant and my doctor has told me that she will b doing my internal checkup tomorrow. This is my second child and everything is normal by now, i am bit confused if i can say no for internal checkup bcz we still can w8 for normal delivery??

Hello Mrs. Kabir and welcome.

If you wish to have a normal vaginal delivery and have no complications that are indications for a cesarean then insist on it with your doctor.

As for an internal check up, this must just be an ultrasound examination or a physical examination of your cervix, do not worry about it.
