What Does It Indicate A Result Showing Follicular Cysts On Ovaries?

i have recently gotten my results from my ultrasound for polysystic ovarian syndrome and both ovaries contain numerous tiny follicular cysts at the periphery of the ovaries without a dominant cyst on either side. I have know idea what this means. Can you please explain.
