The prostate is a small organ at the base of the urinary bladder in males. It can get enlarged in many men above 60 years of age. The size should be within 25 grams but at 28 grams your prostate is only mildly enlarged. It is important to know if you are having any post void urine residue. If you do not have urinary retention problems then taking medication might be optional if you are having any side effects. Please discuss with your doctor.
