What Does It Mean When RBCs Are Showing Aniso-poikilocytosis Predominantly Microcytic Hypochromic With Increased Number Of Erythrocytes?

what this mean Peripheral Smear Examination Blood film/Light microscopy Red blood cells are showing aniso-poikilocytosis predominantly microcytic hypochromic with increase number of erythrocytes. Total White blood cells and Differential count with in normal limit. Platelets are adequate in number. No immature cells or hemoparasite seen.

The above described picture suggestive of iron deficiency anemia. All other parameters are normal.
Have diet rich in iron containing foods like green leafy vegetables. Iron supplements can also be tried.
Repeat the test after a week. If you get the same result again, additional investigations like bone marrow may be needed.
