Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it seems that you have fungal infection of the groins. The bad smell happens usually when there is some super-added bacterial infection. It is important that you get it treated, as this may spread, and bacterial inflammation super-added can complicate the situation. Please do consult a Dermatologist who can examine you and after necessary tests, the doctor can advise you on the management.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Ajit Kumar Varma
