What Does Left Ovary Being Adherent To Uterus Mean?

I have just been told my left ovary is adherent to my uterus! What does this mean? I am 35 with miLd endometriosis and I have ulcerative colitis. I currently use the more a coil to control my endometriosis but I am starting to think about starting a family? Does this mean it will be harder?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have contacted vaginal fungal infection through the unprotected sex. When you have no relief with local medications. You would be offered oral pills along with pesseries&ointments.

In case you want to continue the sex , both the partners need to be treated. No sex till both are completely recovered.

Please consult a gynecologist for more personal advise after examing you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
