What Does Left Ovary Bulky 3.1 X 2.3 X 3.5 Cm Indicate?

Hello,
I had a T/V scan yesterday after weeks and weeks of pelvic and lower back pain that can reduce me to tears. The scan report states: left ovary bulky 3.1 x 2.3 x 3.5 cm with area of heterogenous echotexture measuring 21x18x15 mm ? endmetrioma? heamorrhhagic collapsed cyst? What does this mean?!

Thank you,
Laura

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your reports suggests complex left ovarian cyst,it may be due to endmetrioma or hemorrhagic collapsed cyst.
Complex nature of cyst is suggested by enlarged size, heterogeneous echo texture and content inside.
It is important to know your age and symptoms.
You need clinical correlation and follow up imaging.
CT Scan of pelvis and tumour markers should also be done.
Most likely you only require conservative treatment.
You should consult your gynecologist.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.

Take Care
