General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome that can make it difficult to conceive.
It is possible, since the ultrasound showed one ovary as polycystic.

Your doctor may also suggest blood tests to check the levels of certain hormones as well.

When checking for reasons for difficulty conceiving, the male should also be assessed by a semen analysis and your doctor may also want to take a look at your tubes to make sure that they are open.

If polycystic ovarian syndrome is confirmed, there is treatment. Weight loss of excess weight helps along with medication which can be prescribed by your doctor.

I hope this helps
