What Does Lewy Body Mean?

My mother sustained a fall in an office and hit her head on the floor. since that time she seems to be deteriorating mentally. she had a blood clot, also. A friend of mine just told me about somekind of disease Louy body (spelling?). I would like to have more information about that. She has some of the symptoms of what my friend described. Lewy body dementia is a type of dementia. It's basically a degenerative brain disorder in which patient becomes easily forgetful. It needs a biopsy to be diagnosed.
