What Does Light Bleeding Post A D&C Surgery Indicate?
I am 39 years trying to get pregnant having cystic glandular hyperplasia moderate AMH count 0.33. My doc has put me on Regestrone and Ovigyn DSR. Got my D&C done on 5th Nov. last evening got brownish discharge and this morning nothing. Unable to understand. pls advice
Discharge of brown colour indicates old or retained blood inside. If it happens once or twice in small quantities, there is nothing much to be worry about.
However, if it happens frequently or gets associated with other symptoms, you would need clinical evaluation.
You may need to undertake ultrasound scan and consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical examination and appropriate management. Kindly do the necessary follow-up with your doctor as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
