What Does Light Red Vaginal Discharge Indicate While On Depo Injection?

I have light red on the tissue when I wipe. Not spots but like how wee would be but not just a wet patch but red. It s not thick or mucus, and I haven t had a period in over 2 years due to the depo injection which I have not stopped or over due. I feel sick and pain

Intermenstrual spotting can be seen while you are on the depot shot because of the breakthrough effect of the hormones sometimes. Usually progesterone causes increased thickness of vaginal discharge. As you are having the associated pain also better to consult your gynecologist once and get examined to rule out other possible causes like local vaginal infection or cervical erosion etc.
