Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that you should start the treatment with iron and folic acid. Ferritin is the storage form of iron in our body and folic acid is the vitamin. If it is low there is nothing much serious. you should start with the iron and folic acid tablet. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
