What Does Lump In Roof Of Mouth Indicate?
Hi i have a lump in the roof of my mouth just slightly on the right side. It dosent hurt at all until i press it. It feels kind of hard and like a soft\hard bone but im not sure it only hurts when i press on it and its a dull ache feeling its not sharp

Hi! this soft palate mucosal nodule is definitely benign but in the same time it needs a clinical examination by a general surgeon and some simple primary investigations!
This kind of nodules are rather common but the causes are very different from person to person as follows:
1. a mucosal polyp 20% cases
2. tumor of minor salivary gland 50% cases
3. fibroepithelial polyp 10% cases
4. a mucus retention cyst or some other benign cystic lesion 20% cases
