What Does Lump On Jaw After Wisdom Tooth Removal Suggest?
I have developed a hard lump on the left side of my jaw after my wisdom teeth removal. This is 4 days after the removal and all of the normal swelling has gone, but now I have this large, tender lump. When I press on the lump on the outside of my mouth I can feel warm fluid coming out, and when I spit, my saliva is yellow. Any idea?
Understanding your concern. As per your query lump on jaw post wisdom tooth removal could be because of the remnant infection or expansion of the cortical plate. This lump is very common if swelling subsides as most common way of healing. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Take proper course of antibiotics. If pain occurs take DiclofenacIbuprofen combination. Warm fluid could be because of persistence of infection. Brush and floss daily. Take antimicrobial mouthwash. If it doesn't get better in few days then again consult your dentist for proper examination and ule out cause like hematoma . Doctor may drain the lump or extent the course of antibiotics
Hope your concern has been resolved.
