I recently undergone TMT test for getting medical insurance. As per the report it says TOTAL EXER TIME : 8:41min, MAX HR : 170 bpm (89% of 189 bpm), MAX BP : 140/80 mmHg, MAX WORKLOAD : 10.00 DISTANCE COVERED: 0.58Km, DOUBLE PRODUCT : 23800.00. Kindly help to advice what does report indicates, as insurance provider says that due this TMT report, the premium is been increased.
Hi,I did understand your concern Max BP means the maximum systolic and diastolic pressure that the body will reach during the TMT exercise period. Every insurance company has its baseline BP requirement for TMT protocol. However, i would advice you to consult and meet your provider in detail since this value is not exceedingly beyond normal. so there can be some error in judgement on their part Let me know the result I wish you all the health and success in life
