What Does Mild Cortical Atrophy Post Clipping Surgery For Aneurysm Suggest?

Hi, My mother had undergone clipping surgery for aneurysm. After almost 2 months she continues to have pain in lower right side of the head. On CT SCAN, report says Mild Cortical atrophy noted. What does this mean. Secondly is this reversible? and is it an major area of concern?

Kindly, mention age of your mother. Cortical atrophy is common in elderly. It is age related and is irreversible.
