Hi & Welcome.
I appreciate your concern for your dad.
Incomplete data: Age, any history of alcohol intake, purpose of taking an abdominal
ultrasound, any lab tests like LFTs, etc.
The ultrasound report is suggestive of
fatty liver.
He needs to be further investigated to rule out any liver disease by doing liver function tests, blood
glucose,
lipid profile, etc.
Meanwhile, your dad must
1. Avoid alcohol ( if he consumes) & alcohol containing beverages, fatty meals, fast and junk foods, carbonated soft drinks, etc.
2. Eat home cooked food rich in vegetables, fruits, yoghurt, milk etc.
3. Must reduce body weight if
obese, and should do regular excercise.
A physician's consultation is advised to rule out liver disease.
Best regards.
