What Does Mild Irregularity Of RCA In Angiogram Report Suggest?
hello sir,
my mom 50yrs old,she suffering from heart pain.she already a diabetic patient.doctor have explain to need ct caronary angiogram.i have ct scanned for my mom.
following are the obsevation of caronary angiogram
right dominant system
short lm seen
LAD
proximal -normal
mid -normal
distal -mild irregularity
diagonal and septals -normal
CX
LAD is left anterior descending artery and one of the important arteries in the heart. It is almost normal except for the far end of its branches which shows mild luminal irregularity and that is not a serious concern.
CX is circumflex artery and this also shows mild irregularity in the lumen towards the end.
RCA is right coronary artery and is normal except for the far end where there is luminal irregularity.
PDA is posterior descending artery and this shows narrowing of 90 percent with reduced visualization.
She has little less blood going through the posterior descending artery. An echocardiography is also important and both results are to be compared to know how much of heart function is affected.
