What Does Mild Posterocentral Disc Bulge Leading To Thecal Sac Indentation Suggest?
Hello doctor, My mri says partially dessicated c4/5 and c5/6 with mild posterocentral disc bulge leading to thecal sac indentation and also for L4/5 and L5/S1.What should I do ? I ve pain in left shoulder AMD weakness and numbness in body for two months.I was detected scoliosis, aged 23
disc dessicatory changes means that the intervertebral discs in your spine have started to undergo degeneration as an aging process. degenerative discs become weak and therefore prolapse posteriorly and when severe, may compress the spinal cord leading to pain, paresthesias and paralysis. however, the changes in your spine appear mild and the prolapse is just causing indentation on the sac, not spinal cord, but it can cause pain and numbness, as in your case.
