Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, im 35 and married. I just had a ct scronolgy due to frequent urination with blood. The result are normal size of kidney uteres and ub but it said that there is an incidental minimal cul de sac fluid. I was also requested for urine culture since my uralysis result indicates that i only have a minimal infection but i was aleady given antibiotics for. My urine culture results prior to meds indicates that preliminary reaulty withn 24 hours there more tha 100,000 cfu of gram negative bacilli while the final results shows that there is more tha 100,000 cfu of escherichiacoli. Its also said that other antimicrobial agents tested are not recommended for reporting because they are considered resistant irrespective of zone sizes. May i know what the results mean? Do i have anything to worry about? Thanks! Hoping for your response.
