I believe my PTB is not active because I dont have the symptoms.
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
Pulmonary hyperaeration means air filling in lungs usually seen in case of diseases that cause reduced oxygen in the lungs , like smoking, COPD ,asthma etc , it can occur in TB if you had it quite severe and for a long time, or there are cavities which trap air. TB usually takes 9-12 months of medication to cure, even if there are no symptoms TB bacteria can be there in you which can get reactivated any time so best way to control it is complete course of TB medication.
I would suggest you that hyperaeration if mild is normal just complete TB medication course , lung problems will get better with time , as the lungs recover.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
