What Does Mucus Discharge From The Rectum Indicate?
My two year old has a watery and sometime mucus discharge from her rectum. We first noticed when she had a fever as she got better it stopped. Then it started again a couple of months later. It comes and goes. As it is re -occurring I am getting worried.

Such mucus discharge can be due to digestion problems, due to enzyme deficiency, faulty chewing/introduction of new food item to diet/drinking polluted water or recurrent stool infection.
Please get her checked by her pediatrician.
