Hi,

CT scan report shows multiple fluid air levels in some para-nasal sinuses indicating fluid or pus. This will obviously cause edema of the mucosal lining of sinuses. Wax in left ear. All the findings indicates towards possible infection may be with allergy as primary cause. Hence, you should see an ENT Surgeon which you have already planned for. First of all get all the related tests of blood like CBC, ESR, Blood sugar, IgE for allergy and others as advised. ENT Endoscopy will help for the final diagnosis.

Initial course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines along with oral and topical steroid as would be advise for a course of 1 to 3 weeks. Then repeat CT scan will help to see for the results and help to decide you need to continue with medical management or may need surgery particularly for deviated nasal septum and sinuses if not cleared by medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
