Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had a CT of the Chest, abdomen and pelvis with contrast along with a Bone Scan. I am a Breast Cancer survivor of 4 years. I am 46 years old. The impression was fatty liver and a tiny nonobstructive calculus lower pole left kidney stone measuring 3mm for awhile now. I do get pains every so often on my left back side. I have had several MRI to check my liver and this time the result was a fatty infiltration of the liver with multiple areas of peripheral wedge-shaped and additional rounded nodular areas of increased enhancement on the CT. The results are similar to previous MRIs and CT s. They suspect that the multiple benign focal nodular hyperplasia lesions. I previousely had benign tumors on my liver caused by estrogen. I am currently on an estrogen blocker and some of the lesions have disappeared. What can I do to get rid of that kidney stone and help my fatty liver?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, for the fatty liver you have to cut down the calorie in diet and also need to stop consuming alcohol (If you are ever having it), for the kidney stone it need to be removed surgically, else this is not much to worry, it is advisable to be in regular follow up with your physician hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
