What Does My CT Scan Test Result For Right Upper Quadrant Pain Indicate?

Hi..i have just been released from hospital after presenting with severe RUQ pain. I had a CT scan scan showing a moderate amount of fluid in the retroperitoneum ehich is centered on the second part of the duodenum. There were areas of low attenuation within the medial wall of the D2 which apparently is sispicious for ulceration, no perforation. There is a slight thickening of the duodenal wall. I was only aware of this after reading my discharge summary. After alittle research, may this mean it could end up resulting in cancer? Is there any treatment for this?

Hi
I have gone through your complaints and CT abdomen report.moderate amount of fluid in retroperitoneum centred around 2 nd part of deodenum with thickening and low attenuation areas in deodenal wall indicates the possibility of sealed of perforation of deodenum & focal pancreatitis involving head of pancreas.as you didnt mention pancreas means its normal in report.nothing to worry.its not cancer.it wil take time to resolve all collected fluid .but its important to monitor for fever indicative of secondary infection.
Thank u
With best regards
