Hi,
Thanks for your question.
After going through your question, I can understand your concern.
Consider old anterior infarct means there may be ECG findings denoting past
heart attack (
Myocardial Infarction) involving anterior (frontal) wall of left ventricle.
As in 2014 ECG showed no significant changes.
There may be chance of Myocardial infarction (heart attack) which may have no symptoms or minor symptoms which may not have required medical attention.
For better opinion I want to know -
- Any past medical diseases like diabetes (chances of silent MI more common in diabetics), blood pressure problem,
cholesterol problem.
- Habits like smoking.
- For what purpose have you done ECG recently.
In such case I may suggest to do 2DEcho of heart, which will help in confirming the ECG findings.
Depending upon 2DEcho findings and detailed clinical evaluation further treatment (like antiplatelet therapy, need for coronary
angiography) may or may not be needed.
Better to
consult cardiologist as early as possible.
Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
