What Does My HSG Report Of Opacified And Dilated Fallopian Tubes Mean?
Hi doctor Need you explanation about my hsg results. Just a simple answer. East to understand 1.partial spillage from the right fallopian tube. Occlusion of the left tube. 2.both fallopian tubes are opacified. The distal tubes on both sides are dilated 3.no peritoneal spillage from the left tube
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The following entities can be inferred based on the HSG report you have furnished: 1. Right Fallopian tube shows partial spillage, which indicates that the tube is partially occluded. 2. Left Fallopian tube is completely blocked and does not show any spillage. Since one of the Fallopian tube is blocked completely and the other one is partially occluded, the fertility index seems to be very low. The chances for you to conceive naturally is extremely low. It would be ideal to go for assisted reproductive technique like Invitro fertilization (IVF) if you are planning to conceive. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
