had an mri after auto accident: what does this mean? hypodensity in the periventricular white matter is consistent with chronic ischemic demyelination. it also said the CSF spaces including the basal cisterns, sulci over the convesities, and ventricles are enlarged but stable when compared to the prior exam.
Hi , periventricular hypodensity is due to ischemia and it is due to age related changes . Enlargement of CSF spaces is due to brain atrophy . Advised to start tab ecosporin 75 mg . Thanks
