What Does My MRI Result Indicate?

Greetings,I had an MRI/MRA of the head and neck d/t migraines and chronic dizziness. I was told results were WNL, although upon reading the report I have concerns about part of the results which states: demyelination. The recommendation was for "clinical correlation." Can this be from migraines. Should I advocate for myself and request that other demyelination diseases be ruled out?

Welcome to health care magic.

1. Demyelination is systemic cause which shows hyper-intensities in MRI.
2.Yes demyelination does cause the headaches and dizziness.
3.However the overall results shows - with in normal limits.
4.That states that there is no obvious findings to confidently say it is brain myelination disorder.
5. Hence the reporting doctor has requested for clinical symptoms correlation.

Good luck.
