Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can you please interpret my MRI results and give an opinion as to whether the bone spur represents a threat of paralysis in any way, shape, or form? There is a 2.6mm midline disc osteophytic complex with mild ventral spinal stenosis and cord flattening. No evidence of myelomalacia. Moderate to severe foraminal stenosis on the right secondary to uncovertebral hypertrophy.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, bone spur may not cause paralysis, the given report is suggestive of spinal degenerative disease and this need to be correlated with the clinical symptoms and conditions, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
