Sir, I have has an MRI of lumbar spine yesterday. The following are the impressions: 1.Diffuse disc bulge at L3-4 level compressing thecal sac and bilateral traversing nerve roots. 2. Diffuse disc bulge with posterior annular tear at L4-5 level compressing thecal sac, bilateral traversing nerve roots and narrowing bilateral neural foraminae. 3. Left para central disc protrusion at L5-S1 level indenting left traversing nerve root. Kindly mention the disease status and possible cure.
Welcome to Health care magic. 1.The reports says that the disc which is suppose to be between the two vertebral bodies age herniated / moved backwards and causing compression on the spinal chord and the nerve at the level of L3-4. 2.At level of L4-5 there annular tear ( tear in the outer part of the disc) and causing nerve compression. 3.And nerve root compression at the level of L5-S1. 4.Initially its treated with simple back exercises and followed by the physiotherapy. 5.Finally if nothing working and disability is causing - operative / interventional procedure is treatment of choice. Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
