What Does My MRI Test Report Indicate?

My findings on my mri is mild cervicothoracic dextroscoliosis. Mild degenerative c5 on c6 retroviruses. No vertebral body fracture, worrisome marrow signal abnormality or abnormality of the included posterior fossa structures. Two,possibly 3 t2 hyperintense lesions within the right thyroid lobe. Degenerated discs with t2 signal loss and mild disc narrowing at c5-6 and c6-7. What does all this mean?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Degenerative changes in spine do not show up much revealing facts so far as severity of condition is concerned, unless there is significant pain or functional disability through that.

However, hyperintense lesions within right thyroid lobe does not sound normal and the same has to be evaluated by thorough physical examination, fine needle aspiration biopsy from the lesion to consider the pathology and management accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
