General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the ultrasound scan report you have given, the following things can be inferred.
1. Right ovary is bulky and is measuring 52 X 30 mm (5.2 cm X 3.0 cm).
The average normal size is 3.5cm x 2.5cm x 1.5cm. It is almost one and half times increase than the size of normal. However, there is no solid or cystic (fluid-collected) mass seen.
2. Left ovary is of normal size and is measuring 24 X 15 mm (2.4 cm X 1.5 cm). Left ovary also does not show any solid or cystic mass.
Right now, it appears there is no need to worry about it much.
However, it would be better if you can consult Gynecologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
