What Does My X-ray Report Indicate?

Hi, this is my xray result. what does it mean? thankz A linear density is seen in the left upper lobe. No definite active parenchymal infiltrates seen in the rest of the lungs. Heart is not enlarged. Diaphragm, sulci and bony thorax are intact. IMPRESSION: LEFT UPPER LOBE FIBROID

Hello. there is a small mass in your left upper lung. fibroids are generally benign masses. so need not worry. It's not mentioned whether you are a smoker or not. If you are smoking it's high time you give up smoking. consult your physician to rule out infectious causes like Tuberculosis. You may need to undergo surgery for the removal of fibroid. All the best
