Hello good pm. Im jenny 19 I have my xray result. Here it is. Findings : Suspicious apex infiltrates heart is not enlarged Diaphragm and sulci are intact Impression : for apicolordotic view What the meaning of that? Im so curious.
Noted your history about X-ray report of chest showing suspicious apex infiltrates and advised for apico-lordotic view. It is always important to know the detailed history of past and present to correlate to any investigation reports. Since you have not mentioned about any history I would advise you the following: CT scan of the chest that will show the apical infiltration better than X-ray and may possibly give a definite diagnosis. Also needed is test relevant tests of blood like TB Gold for tuberculosis or any other tests that is prevalent in your are. Tests of sputum for gram staining, fungus and AFB that is acid fast bacilli for Tuberculosis or any other condition. Second opinion of a Pulmonologist will surely help and may help in bronchoscopic lavage for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
