What Does My Arterial Doppler Ultrasound Scan Report Of Left Leg Indicate?
Hi Dr, I had Arterial Doppler Left LEG ultrasound done. Conculusion of the report is 20 cm below the Knee there is a presumed PTA occlusion with collaterisation and retrograde flow. whats are the options available for treatement, how severe is the problem. Please advise
Hello madam/sir, welcome to medical care magic. A artery in leg 20 cms below knee is blocked. To manage the blood supply to the distal part of leg and foot, blood is going through alternate route. also because of blockage, reverse blood flow is also there.Better relieve that occlusion through surgery. If not now, future definitely symptoms increases. With this I hope I cleared your doubts. Take care. Good health
