Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. After going through culture and sensitivity report, following things can be inferred. Your kid is having 'pneumonia' caused by the organism 'Klebsiella pneumoniae'. The infection needs to be treated by administration of a course of antibiotics. The organism is sensitive to the following drugs, which when given would help to recover from this illness: Amikacin, Gentamycin, Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Ofloxacin, Nitrofurantoin, Trimethoprim/Sulfamethoxazole. The other drugs are resistant, and if administered would be useless to overcome the infection. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
