Occasional dead spermatozoa seen sperm count and motility not mentioned anywhere in the report pus cells 1-2 Epithelial cells - few fructose- present Please tell me what does this report mean? we are trying to conceive are there any medications to improve the results how long does it take to increase sperm count?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
According to your semen analysis you have occasional dead sperms seen in the sample you provided. Therefore motility was zero. There was also occasional pus cells & epithelial cells seen in the sample too. So all togethar your semen analysis is suggestive that you may be suffering from azoospermia which is having any measurable level of live sperms in semen sample. However a second semen analysis is also advised. This problem should be the reason of infertility problem you are facing. Azoospermia could arise from problem of testis, due to chemotherapy, due to hormonal defects, due to obstruction in genital tract (means sperms are formed but not released in semen), etc. Treatment of Azoospermia depends upon its cause.
Refer to your physician Hope this information helps
