What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Today I was notified that my kidney blood results are at 1.13 higher then normal, whatever that means, and instructed to do blood work again in a week or two. Going based on the comment below by another person that s considered stage 3ckd shouldn t this have been treated more urgently if that was the case? What are normal levels?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Can you mention what exactly the test was, and why it was ordered?

I guess it is serum creatinine. A single value of creatinine 1.13mg/dl does not indicates stage 3 ckd. This needs confirmation with a repeat testing, as well as consideration of other factors including any symptoms like edema, hypertension, diabetes. Kindly followup with your doctor as advised. No need of worry, seeing a single value of 1.13.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
