What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

I get frequent fevers (up 1-3 degrees), when fever sets in I feel drained. Normal temp is 96.7 - 97.4 Last blood test showed elevated white count, but GP simply said he had no idea what was wrong. Saw an allergist, slight allergy to 3 molds, not enough for meds. Taking Armour Thyroid 60mg once daily for about 8 months. The odd hypothyroid symptoms have not abated. I am tired most of the day, can keep going (housewife) and get done what must be done, house cleaning, laundry, care of animals, garden, weeding, etc. All in all I feel terrible (which is relatively new for me), I am 68, obese, even with husband trying to help me I am gaining more weight, 5 pounds from Sunday to Monday this week. I have degenerative disc disease in the lumbar region - had cervical fusion 10 years ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Your symptoms are likely caused by your underlying thyroid pathology.I will suggest you see an endocrinologist for reevaluation. You will need to have your thyroid function test done again.I feel you may need a dose adjustment.Your Endocrinologist will also have to eliminated an associated metabolic disorders like diabetes. In the mean time, i will advise:
-You rest/sleep well
-Avoid stress
-Control your diet/have your weight under check
-Pain drug like aceclofenac and myorelaxant like miorel may occasionally help for your lumbar pain.A Physiotherapist may also help.
Hope this will help
Best regards
