What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hi my niece have fever from last 15days doctor have done her blood test her esr is 75 doctor examine her said it is due to hwr throught problem she has fungus there from last one week she is being treated by antibiotics but still she get fever 3time a day her typhoid and malaria test are clear but due to still fever now doc start typhoid medicine can typhoid be in body when her test was clear please anyone help thanks in advance

Typhoid is a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella typhi. The diagnostic tests for typhoid vary according to disease stage. In the first week it can be detected only on blood culture, second week we can detect it on WIDAL or other antibody based tests, third week stool culture is more specific and in fourth week urine culture is good. She could be in a stage where that specific test was not valid according to weeks. Hope it helps.
