Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a chest X-ray last week for PAT. The report states: 4 mm nodular density overlying the left lung base and left posterior ninth rib. I had a CT scan yesterday. The nodule does not show up on the CT scan. I have been told that the 4mm nodular density seen on the X-ray might be a shadow, or an anomaly. I have been told to not worry about it. What do you think?

What Does My Chest X-ray Report Indicate?
Hello, It could be an old or healed lesion and does not indicates any active disease process. No definite treatment is required either. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
