What Does My Colonoscopy Report Indicate?

In 1998 I had a colonoscopy and a removal of a polyup. I am 80 years old and had colonoscopies at first every 3 years and then every 5 years until July 2012 with no signs of polyups. It s been 5 years since my last colonoscopy and I d lik to know if at age 80 I still have to have one.

yes you still need to have colonoscopy. colonic polyps are associated with high incidence of carcinomas thats why screening colonoscopies are needed. it is a good thing that you are fine but you must take precautions.
