On my last colonoscopy there was a narrowing and thickening of the colon wall. Over the last few months there has been cramping, bowels have changed to extremely small and are crunched up, and on occasion float. Gastrilogist says this is not cancer but could it develop? He says I may need to have surgery. How would I know when that time comes and how dangerous is the surgery?
