What Does My Follicular Study Report Indicate?
Hi doctor, I am 33 years old and TWW for 3.5 years. No luck till now. Failed IUI cycle last month. This month again we are planning for IUI cycle #2. My day 7 reports are below :- Rt - 1.2×1.2 & 3 small follicles. Lt- 1.6×1.4 & 1.2×1.2 Endometrium 5.1 mm I had cloumid from day#2-7 Doctor has given Humog 75 injection on day 7 and day 8. My IUI is likely to schedule on 25th and 26th. Please let me if I am going on correct track. We had 3 rounds of fertility drugs including this round. How many rounds of stimulated ovaries can be done? What are side effects of all these fertility drugs? Thanks for your quick help...

Humog is a combination of many gonadotropin and so corrects various causes of sterility. It has a cumulative effect and so is to be repeated for several cycles till desired hormonal condition is achieved and gives success in treatment. From that point of view, you are on correct path. It has normal possible side effects like allergy, indigestion, bloating, weight gain, irritability which can be treated very well. Excessive reaction needs change in dosage or type of treatment. Please observe for side effects and be in touch with your doctor.
